Health Co-ordination and Policies

We have examples of policies which demonstrate good practice in many health related areas. These are available from your Healthy School Co-ordinator. All policies are up to date and in accordance with DfES guidelines and statutory orders. Regular training opportunities are provided for teachers and other school staff and dates and venues are published in our termly magazine SHINE. Programmes of work in PSHE with emphasis on Drug Education and SRE for all Key Stages are being developed. These planned programmes will have lesson plans, activities and information about up to date and relevant resources. The Key Stage One pack will be available in January. The pack will be used as a basis for teacher training in the Spring Term.
